Stockbroker Gerrard has put 'buy' recommendations on two corporate bond funds reflecting the ongoing demand among investors for these types of products at a time when valuations of shares are still considered high despite steep share price falls.
The Old Mutual and M&G corporate bond funds are both led by experienced investment teams, with the former also having outperformed the FTSE All Share since its start in 2000.
Continued institutional demand and good ongoing yields are seen as other factors why these funds should continue producing satisfactory returns to investors.
