Fiona MacRae has been appointed to head the European equities at Scottish Widows Investment Management (SWIM) in the aftermath of the departure of Albert Morillo to BlackRock, a US fund management group with offices in Edinburgh. Joining Morillo at BlackRock are two other members of SWIM's European team David Stanistreet and Ken Anderson. In her new position MacRae will take-over the management of the group's European unit trust.
