Friends Ivory and Sime have announced new heads of their marketing and sales teams in preparation for their acquisition of Royal & SunAlliance Investments.
Michael Lynch, who was previously UK investment sales manager for Royal & SunAlliance Investments, will be responsible for specialist investment intermediaries, including discretionary asset managers and private client stockbrokers.
John Yule is giving up his post as head of sales at Friends Ivory and Sime to head up the team covering key National accounts and strategic distribution relations.
And William Russell, formerly Royal & SunAlliance Investments' director of retail funds, will now head up the new sales team.
All three will report to Nick Criticos, managing director of retail funds at Friends Ivory & Sime, who is looking forward to working with the newly merged team.
"Bringing the two retail teams together presents us with a great opportunity to further expand our business. Our target is to significantly increase distribution in the UK market under the ISIS brand. I'm confident that with Mike, John and William in place, we now have the talent and the right structure to take our retail business forward."
Peter Marshall, spokesman for Royal & SunAlliance Investments adds: "The three new members have vast amounts of experience from both sides of the fence especially in the retail sales market. I believe we will see the team building a higher profile for the company through extensive market campaigns and the re-branding of the company which is due to happen sometime next year. There will be a much more active and aggressive approach."
The sales team will take up their new posts on July 1 when Friends Ivory Sime officially completes the acquisition of Royal & SunAlliance Investments.
