First State Investments has restructured its retail sales team covering the UK and European markets.
Phil Jefferson continues to head First State's retail unit but will focus more on the European arena.
Meanwhile, Richard Jones has been promoted to director, UK retail sales.
Jones will now be responsible for the continuing development of the UK retail sales team, particularly focusing on the anticipated changes expected for the UK market place, as well as continuing to build awareness among intermediaries.
A number of changes have been made elsewhere in the team. Warren Withington, former investment sales manager (north) is concentrating on First State's unit-linked insurance company connections.
Carol Cunningham, who joined First State in April this year, replaces Withington as investment sales manager (north). She joined the group from Friends Provident.
