Jan C de Bruijn is taking over as senior fund manager at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership, responsible for Asia and Emerging Markets.
Reporting to Graham Wood, investment director and head of International Research, de Bruijn will join the team on 19th August, carrying a joint stock analyst/fund manager role.
He previously worked for Shell Pensioenfonds Beheer (in Holland), where he has spent the last five years, but was most recently senior portfolio manager in the emerging Asian markets where he managed equity and bond portfolios with a value of E550m. Prior to this, Jan was a portfolio manager with two large UK financial institutions researching Asia Pacific stocks.
