Nick Ansell and Max Wright are to join Misys IFA Services as general managers to the network business. Ansell will be responsible for IFA Network and Financial Options. Wright will be responsible for Countrywide and Kestral. They will both be responsible for delivering elements of customer service, including recruitment, member development, commission payments, compliance monitoring and support.
Tamsin Faiers is to join Invesco Asset Management as assistant fund manager for its European small-caps team. Faiers, who worked as a research assistant for Fidelity Investments, will report to Claire Griffiths, who heads the team.
Advisory & Brokerage Services has appointed Tony Laning and David Cant as directors. Laning, who previously worked for RJ Temple, will be responsible for investment. He will also be responsible for building A&B's investment management and asset allocation facilities for the company's private and pension fund client base. Cant joins as finance director having previously worked for Hampden in a similar role. He will also be responsible for the company's financial affairs, corporate services and systems development.
Richard Prew is to leave Morley Fund Management for Hendersons Global Investors. He will be the company's UK equity growth director.
Prew will take over as the lead manager on its portfolio of UK retail equity growth funds.
Schroder Investment Management has appointed Christopher Wyke as global product manager for fixed income products and business development worldwide. Wyke will be bringing more than 20 years experience in the industry to Schroders and most recently headed Paribas' Australian office.
Paul Fryers has been recruited by Scottish Life as regional sales manager.
Fryers, who previously worked for Chelsea Building Society as assistant regional sales controller, will be responsible for developing relationships with IFAs in the mortgage market in the north of England, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
Paul Kleiser and Stuart O'Gorman are to head the Henderson Global Investors technology team. Hendersons hired Kleiser and O'Gorman to replace Brian Ashford-Russell, Tim Woolley and David Magliocco, the current managers who are leaving at the end of the year to head up a new investment company.
Gartmore Investment Management has appointed Tony Hicks as regional sales manager for national IFAs and networks.
