Life assurance group Old Mutual has appointed Bill Vasilieff and David Hazelton to take up the posts of marketing director and sales director, respectively, from today.
The pair will work exclusively for Old Mutual Life, the recently formed investment subsidiary of Old Mutual, and contribute to the group's aim of building an onshore and offshore investment business for British investors.
Of the two appointments Life's managing director Brett Williams said: "I am delighted that they have agreed to join me in this new business. They have tremendous skills in the IFA markets and are both highly respected for their wealth of knowledge, experience and understanding of the need for a strong market focus."
Hazelton who joins Life from Zurich IFA said: "I am very excited by this new UK initiative by Old Mutual. I am determined to build a highly effective sales team to drive the business forward in the IFA market place. We intend to add real value to the IFA business by ensuring that the products and services we offer are in line with their changing needs and offer value for money to their clients."
