Newton will not be launching a fund of funds service, according to Harry Morgan, the head of the private client management in Scotland, who joined the group last week from Edinburgh Fund Managers. He will rather offer private client services to investors with a minimum portfolio size of £250,000. At Edinburgh, Morgan was director and head of private clients, responsible for around £300m of assets under management. Peter Henderson, formerly of Cazenove, has also joined Newton's private client division. He is to work as a fund manager in the charities team. At Cazenove he was head of charities.
