HBOS asset manager Insight Investment says it will spend £1m on an advertising campaign linked to the current ISA season in a bid to drive client traffic to IFAs that will hopefully turn into sales of Insight products.
It wants the campaign to boost investor confidence among both consumers and their IFAs in light of the three-year bear market.
The campaign will focus on two types of investment solutions; one for novice investors and another for experienced ones.
The "Focus Plan" and the "Portfolio Builder Plan" will be linked to Insight funds, and will stress the need for consumers to review the performance of their existing ISAs.
The minimum investment required will be £3,000, and Insight will take a 5.25% upfront charge with annual management charges ranging from 1.15% to 1.5%.
