LeggMason Investors will ask Standard & Poor's Fund Research to re-rate its European Growth Unit Trust when Keiran Gallagher takes the helm. The group has confirmed that Gallagher, who will join on 27 March in the dual roles of head of European equities and chief investment officer, is to be made lead manager on the fund and will be assisted by current manager, Jeremy Knight. Gallagher will be given the freedom to change the portfolio as he sees fit.
