BestInvest's Spot the Dog Guide to funds has found that biggest offender is Isis, whose head of communications Jason Hollands originally set up the review when he worked for the intermediary firm. According to the guide, of the £4.1bn of funds under management in the Isis/Friends Provident fund range at the end of June, £2.0bn are dogs. This means that eight of its funds had underperformed their benchmark in each of the last three years and had underperformed their benchmarks by at least 10% over the past three years on a cumulative basis.
