The group reported substantial sales, profits and earnings growth, all at record levels. Before one-off costs profit before tax was up 79% and sales by over 60% as the company focused on the speciality pharmaceuticals sector and its acquisition of the French pharma business, Martindale. Following this acquisition the group has divided its activities into pharmaceutical distribution and manufacturing. As well as strong organic growth, the group will continue to look for further significantly sized acquisitions in the UK and overseas.
