Investors planning to put their Isa allowance into investment trusts may need to make their purchase well before 5 April in order to meet the deadline for the 2002/03 tax year. Cooling-off periods and other administrative matters mean some investment trust Isa schemes close as early as 27 March. Aberdeen Asset Managers investment trust Isa applications close on 27 March, or 3 April if investors agree to waive the seven day cooling-off period.
