Leopold Joseph is marketing a trust wrapper service to the intermediary market.
The Wealth Protection Trust, which has a set an upfront fee of £250 and an annual trustee fee of £250, was originally designed as an add-on to the independent City-based bank's existing specialist trust services.
Shaun Lacey, executive director of the trust, said it had been developed to appeal to asset managers and IFAs.
He said: "It will open up substantial opportunities for intermediaries and their clients by providing lifetime estate planning, without the high fees normally associated with a conventional offshore discretionary trust."
The trust provided investment management services, but was also available to clients who wanted to select their own investments or use other managers, he said.
The five-page trust deed has been developed to allow signatories the flexibility to hold a wide range of assets such as individual equities and bonds, hedge funds and life insurance products including single premium life bonds.
It offers negotiable commissions depending on the value of introduced business. Customers who sign up for the new trust are entitled to an account either in sterling or dollars and a Leopold Joseph Gold Card.
