Threadneedle Investments has hired Stephen Moore to its US Equity team as a portfolio manager with responsibility for a number of institutional accounts. The hire will not affect the management of Threadneedle's retail funds which remain under the control of fund managers Cormac Weldon and Zanny Perring. Moore previously worked in the US equity team at First State Investments having joined the company as an analyst in Australia in 1997 and subsequently moved on to portfolio management in its London office.
