Gordon Brown has confirmed the tax-free lump sum on pensions will remain part of the pensions package, as well tax relief on employer contributions. Details of the pensions Green Paper will be published next month, and include the Inland Revenue's Tax Simplification Review. But Brown says the key benefits which were suspected to be chopped will stay.
