Hichens Investment Management, the discretionary investment management specialist, has recruited three fund managers from HSBC Investment Management, the group's private client division. David Elliott and James Knowles will be joining the company as investment directors while Matthew Sharp will become investment manager of the group. The appointments come a few months after the group's private client business recruited Adam Slide and David Mercer from HSBC as directors.
The increase in minimum AE contributions has had little impact on opt-out rates - with cessations after April increasing by less than two percentage points, data from The Pensions Regulator (TPR) shows.
