Io Investors is launching a unit trust company, Io unit trust managers, in late May, early June. The group will initially launch an onshore unit trust to act as a feeder fund into its Dublin-based Global Balanced Fund, which is a multi-manager fund of funds. Io is also planning to launch a raft of further fund of funds vehicles, including a number of bond mandates in May and a UK equity fund further down the line. There will be a range of bond fund of funds offering different duration profiles. A Dublin-domiciled fund of hedge funds will be launched on 1 June.
