The £48.5m Fleming Technology Trust is to be wound up, in the latest blow to the beleaguered and shrinking technology investment trust sector. The board of the trust is to put reconstruction proposals to shareholders which would involve liquidation and allowing shareholders to roll their investment into another vehicle or take a cash exit. Chairman of the trust John de Blocq van Kuffeler said: 'The board has become increasingly concerned that although the company's current financial position is sound, its structure is inappropriate for investment in the technology sector at this time....
