Skandia has added the M&G UK Inflation Linked Corporate Bond fund to its life and pensions range on the back of strong demand for the "innovative" vehicle.
The fund invests in a range of bonds issued by blue-chip companies such as Tesco whose yields fluctuate in line with inflation.
It is designed to protect investors from inflation whilst also enabling them to profit from rising prices in the medium to long term.
"This is the first fund of its kind that has been made available as an insured link via Skandia and we are already in advanced discussions with a number of other key partners," says M&G director of UK advisory and partnership sales.
