F&C is rolling out its UK Property fund to the broader IFA market by making it available on leading platforms.
The open-ended NURS fund, which provides both retail and institutional investors with the opportunity to buy into a diversified portfolio of UK commercial properties, is managed by Julian Smith and Guy Glover of F&C REIT.
The fund has now been added to the Cofunds, FundsNetwork, Transact, Nucleus, Novia and Ascentric platforms following its June launch to private discretionary managers.
F&C head of proposition Philip Martin says: "The fund aims to provide an attractive and rising income through a diversified portfolio of quality commercial properties. As we have deliberately chosen to start with cash with a view to taking advantage of prevailing opportunities in the current market conditions, rather than launch with legacy property seeding, we have been clear that we wish to grow this fund steadily over time in a sustainable way.
"Having launched with the backing of a group of discretionary managers we are now seeking to broaden this out through the IFA market. The first step in this is to make it available through all the key platforms utilised by IFAs."
