The Galaxy S5 is the latest flagship handset from Samsung and is designed to cement the manufacturer's place as the world's top smartphone maker. Debuted at Samsung's Unpacked event at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month, the Galaxy S5 comes armed with a number of key upgrades and new technologies to help it in this endeavor. Chief of these is its new fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint scanner is housed in the Galaxy S5's physical Home button and is similar to the Touch ID scanner included on Apple's iPhone 5S.
