The IMA Global sector is made up of funds which invest at least 80% of their assets in equities (but not more than 80% in UK assets) and which have the prime objective of achieving growth of capital. Global funds allow an investor to gain worldwide equity exposure, managed at both a strategic and tactical level. They also provide this exposure without requiring the levels of capital needed for a sector specific portfolio.
