AXA PPP International explains how investment in technology and multilingual staff has helped the company to offer outstanding international healthcare products.
Q Is there a single factor international healthcare product providers should focus on or is it important to try and be good at all the key elements of business?
AXA PPP International believes it is vital to excel at all the key elements of the business – quick and efficient claims process, quick response times to customer enquiries and excellent online capability making life as easy as possible for our company clients and all our insured members.
Of particular focus at the current time of economic uncertainties is providing value for money, this means making sure we have and well managed hospital network where claims costs are monitored and controlled but the insured member is not disadvantaged in any way.
Q A number of the group’s products and features impressed the judges. How important is it to get features right, particularly service, when it comes to international markets?
It is vital to excel
It is vitally important to make sure the product and features are relevant to our insured members wherever they may be located around the world. We need to understand the markets we operate in and we recognise this by having regional managers strategically located around the globe.
We also work very closely with other AXA entities to make sure we fully appreciate the critical service features that are expected of us in the International Markets. We recognise certain market segments (e.g. marine market) have specific requirements and therefore we have recently launched our marine product.
