In the latest Big Debate, our one-on-one special with Rathbone Unit Trust Management discussed Strategic Bonds.
Where now for bond markets?
We will be assessing the opportunities and risks for bond investors as a cloudy picture emerges on prospects for the UK economy. Fitch warned recently the UK's prized AAA rating is still under threat but there was more positive news this week as business leaders predicted the UK economy moved out of recession in the third quarter. Bryn Jones, fixed income director at Rathbone Unit Trust Management, will be giving his views on different sectors of the bond market as well as explaining the positioning on his Strategic Bond fund as it celebrates its first anniversary.
