Answer: Gary Dale - Investec In simple terms a Guaranteed Equity Bond (GEB) is a structured product. The fact that the word guaranteed has been used suggests to me that the underlying structure is a deposit and this question has been answered already, "Would the panel suggest a Structured Deposit as a safe way of investing?".
