Fundhouse reveals fund selection track record

Funds ratings agency Fundhouse has released its fund selection track record, which evaluates whether the firm's fund recommendations available to clients are outperforming their respective benchmarks.

The firm found Tier 1 funds, which received Fundhouse's top rating due to showing the highest chance of adding value, outperformed their benchmarks 67% of the time net of fees while Tier 2 funds, which also received positive ratings but show some issues, beat the benchmarks 53% of the time, as at the end of July. Furthermore, Tier 3 funds, which have a negative rating and are predicted to not add value, underperformed their benchmarks 82% of the time.
