iShares has made two senior sales appointments to help grow the business as the ETF market develops.
Matt Mack has joined as head of strategic accounts and Stephen Cohen is taking on the role of head of investment strategies EMEA.
They will both report to David Gardner, head of iShares sales EMEA.
Mack's role will involve the oversight and co-ordination of iShares' relationships with financial institutions across EMEA.
He joins iShares from Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he worked as head of UK and Nordic third party distribution. Prior to that, he spent five years at GSAM as executive director for EMEA Hedge Fund Sales and three years at Mellon Global Investments.
Cohen joins iShares from Nomura, where he was global head of equity-linked strategy, a role in which he was responsible for derivatives, convertibles and delta-one products. He also previously worked in Japanese convertibles at ING Barings and in relative value and hedge fund sales in UBS Fixed Income.
In his new role, he will manage the Investment Strategies and Insights team, which produces analysis, insight and collateral on iShares' funds and solutions.
