Commerzbank in partnership with NYSE Euronext has launched two new ETFs on the Lisbon stock exchange.
Comstage a subsidiary of the German bank will distribute the products on the Portuguese PSI 20 and PSI 20 Leveraged indices.
Miguel Geraldes, head of cash markets and listings of the NYSE Euronext Lisbon says: “Launching this ETF on the PSI 20 means the Portuguese market now owns a new class of products, allowing domestic and international investors to set themselves more efficiently.”
According to Commerzbank, the new products aim to combine the simplicity of trading shares with the diversification of investment funds, while giving investors exposure to the largest listed companies in Portugal.
Hélio Cláudio director of public distribution international of Commerzbank, says: “We have the pleasure of launching the first Comstage product in Portugal, a product that will be of great importance to investors seeking exposure to the domestic equity market.”
The PSI 20 and the PSI 20 Leveraged funds have a Total Expense Ratio of 0.50% and 0.60% respectively.
