EasyETF has unveiled a fund tracking the performance of the S&P 500 index on three exchanges across Europe.
The launch comes after the recent opening of the S&P 500 licence to European ETF issuers and widens the firm's coverage of the US stock market.
This was previously limited to tracking the equities of the 100 largest US firms.
The EasyETF S&P 500, which is Ucits III compliant, is available in euros and US dollars on the Paris-based NYSE Euronext, Deutsche Boerse, and Borsa Italiana.
The S&P 500 index comprises equities of the 500 largest US companies, covering nearly 75% of US stocks.
EasyETF head of ETF and indexed funds development Danièle Tohmé-Adet says: "For this reason, it is an ideal gateway to the US market for European investors."
She adds: "The S&P 500 index is regarded as the benchmark for the US equity market, as proven by the number of funds using it as their benchmark in the world: more than US $3.5 trn AUM combined."
The annual management fee for the fund is 0.20%.
