Ascentric is unveiling two HSBC ETFs tracking the FTSE 100 and Dow Jones indices as it looks to capitalise on the growing popularity of trackers.
Hot on the heels of the wrap's tie-up with the banking giant for an onshore investment bond, the HSBC FTSE 100 ETF and HSBC Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 ETF are now available to Ascentric users.
HSBC, which set out its plans to enter the ETF market in August, will launch a full suite over the coming months.
Wealth management sales spokesperson at HSBC Robert Samuels thinks ETFs are becoming an increasingly sought after investment tool for advisers.
"With the introduction of the Retail Distribution Review, investment products such as ETFs are likely to rise further in popularity," he says. "By making these available via a market leading wrap platform, intermediaries will have these popular investment tools within easy reach."
