Jefferies has launched two equity-based ETFs providing exposure to agriculture and industrial metals on NYSE Arca.
The Jefferies TR/J CRB Global Agriculture Equity Index fund and the Jefferies TR/J CRB Global Industrial Metals Equity Index fund track the recently released Thomson Reuters/Jefferies CRB-EQ indices.
The range of indices provides exposure to globally traded equities of companies primarily involved in the production and distribution of commodities, commodity-related products, and services in the agriculture, industrial metals, energy and precious metals sectors.
The global agriculture equity fund tracks a benchmark comprising equity securities of global, listed companies engaged in the production and distribution of agriculture products. This includes grains, livestock, fertilizers, chemicals, seeds, and equipment.
The industrial metals equity fund tracks a benchmark of equities of global companies involved in the production and distribution of base and industrial metals, as well as related metal products.
Alps Advisors is the investment adviser for the ETFs, while Arrow Investment Advisors is the investment sub-adviser. Jefferies is a global securities and investment banking group, based in New York with offices in 25 cities around the world.
