Financial services firm Guggenheim Partners has finalised its acquisition of Claymore Group, a provider of ETFs and other investment products.
The merger means Claymore and its associated entities, including Claymore Securities, Claymore Advisors and Claymore Investments in Canada are indirect, wholly-owned subsidiaries of Guggenheim Partners.
Claymore Advisors acts as the investment adviser and administrator for a range of 34 US ETFs, tracking equities, fixed income, sectors and emerging markets.
The range includes the Claymore BNY Mellon Bric ETF, the US Capital Markets Bond ETF and the S&P Global Water Index ETF.
Claymore Advisors will continue to serve the role of advisor and administrator on an interim basis, while shareholder approval of the new agreements is sought.
