Crédit Agricole Structured Asset Management (Casam) and the Edhec Risk and Asset Management Resea...
Crédit Agricole Structured Asset Management (Casam) and the Edhec Risk and Asset Management Research Centre have jointly created a new research chair called the 'Core-Satellite and ETF Investment'.
The chair entails three years of academic research into ETFs and their implementation within a core-satellite approach to asset management. A Casam/Edhec advisory board will oversee the research.
The team of researchers at the Edhec Risk and Asset Management Research Centre will examine advanced forms of risk budgeting in a dynamic core-satellite approach and the use of these techniques by investors and asset managers.
"Casam has chosen to offer investors a range of high-quality ETFs which are among the most efficient on the market," says CEO of Casam Fathi Jerfel. "As a result of both the new Casam ETF range and our partnership with the Edhec Risk and Asset Management Research Centre, we will bring our clients real added value from an economic point of view and in terms of investment strategy."
The first project as part of the chair will be the pan-European Edhec ETF survey 200 on the use of ETFs by European investors. The results will be presented at the third ETF and Indexation summit at Edhec Institutional Days, held in Paris at the end of May.
