Assureweb pulls PMI service with view to new offering

Assureweb has decommissioned its private medical insurance (PMI) quoting system with a view to introducing an upgraded portal in the future.

The technology services provider pulled the plug on its previous version after deciding it was not meeting the needs of its customers. It will now undergo a research period to assess the market and the needs of any advisers wishing to use the service. Mark Wilson, director of sales and marketing at Assureweb, explained that with only one provider being offered it was felt to be insufficient for the marketplace.
