AMPS chairman Roberts steps down

AMPS chairman Andrew Roberts has stepped down.

James Hay's head of technical support Neil MacGillivray will act as acting chairman until a replacement is elected at the next committee meeting on 18 October. Addressing an AMPS technical workshop held in London on 3 October Roberts said: "I am stepping away from the AMPS committee at the close of this AGM, after six years, to ensure that there is a flow of fresh ideas. "Everyone I have served with over those last six years has helped me develop personally and I so am extraordinarily grateful for their help, support and guidance over the years."
