Opportunity to invest in single companies through portfolio service

Independent platform GrowthInvest is to launch a regulated discretionary managed portfolio service, offering advisers the opportunity to invest in single companies as well as funds through a discretionary wrapper.

The service will be Financial Conduct Authority-regulated and will allow advisers to pick portfolios of funds as well as companies. Allocations will be EIS only, SEIS only, or a blend of the two on an evergreen basis, with companies being picked by the platform's investment team. The service will go live prior to the tax year end on 5 April. It will be managed by Sapphire Capital Partners, under the investment direction of Boyd Carson.
