Professional firms 'increasingly holistic' - SRA policy director

Professional firms are taking an 'increasingly holistic approach' and future regulation will only make it easier for financial advisers and others to work with solicitors, according to Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) executive director for policy Crispin Passmore.

Addressing a reception marking the 25th anniversary of SIFA - originally Solicitors for Independent Financial Advice - Passmore discussed the changing market for legal services and the opportunities for interaction between the professions that have only grown since the introduction of the Legal Services Act of 2007.
