Aviva returns to in-house advice with at-retirement launch

Aviva is launching an in-house advisory team focused on assisting clients at the point of retirement.

The provider is planning to launch the advice team, expected to be about 20 advisers strong, by the end of this year. It will offer face-to-face advice to at-retirement customers and be restricted to Aviva products. The service marks a return to the advice space for the provider. In 2013, it scrapped its direct advice operation as part of a company-wide restructure.
