Adviser portal Unbiased.co.uk is launching a major advertising campaign to promote the value of advice to consumers new to the profession.

Unbiased, which connects consumers to financial advisers, said it wants to tap into a "huge potential new market" by focusing on consumers who need financial and legal advice, but may never have used an adviser before. The firm will launch a multi-channel advertising campaign in May to promote advice across TV, digital and outdoor media. Research published in April found some 92% of the general public are not prepared to pay more than £100 an hour for financial advice, delivering a blow to many advisers wanting to grow their client base.
