The merger of annuity providers Partnership and Just Retirement is set for an early April completion date, the businesses have confirmed.
The merger, announced last year following the introduction of pension freedom, was originally set for finalisation in November last year but has taken longer than anticipated. The deal with approved by financial regulators earlier this week. The new outfit will be called JRP Group. Both companies released results this morning. Just Retirement's half year results said operating profit increased by 43% in the second half of last year.
