Fidelity, Aberdeen and Invesco could join IA exodus

Another three key members of the Investment Association could join M&G Investments and Schroders in withdrawing their membership, according to Sky News.

Its latest report said Fidelity Investments, Aberdeen Asset Management, and Invesco Perpetual are examining whether to leave the trade body. The news comes ahead of a crucial meeting between the Investment Association's non-executive directors today, where they are understood to be addressing the membership crisis. Fidelity and Aberdeen did not comment on the matter, while Invesco was unavailable for comment. Together, the five groups control more than £1trn in assets.
