Auto-enrolment providers in duplication error

Some workers put into Now Pensions and the People's Pension have been mistakenly enrolled multiple times, PA's sister title Professional Pensions understands.

Now Pensions said the error was due to inconsistencies in member data, and had resulted in some members receiving multiple welcoming letters. The People's Pension said it had seen about 50 employees wrongly auto-enrolled more than once by their employer. This was against a total employee base of 1.3 million.
