Seven Investment Management (7IM) has launched a range of passive equity value funds that aim to outpeform the index by 1%-2% at a lower cost than active funds.
The single sector 'smart passive' funds will be available as a part of portfolio planning for private clients and institutions. The first three funds, 7IM European (ex UK) Equity Value fund, 7IM UK Equity Value fund and 7IM US Equity Value fund, were launched last week, while the 7IM Emerging Markets Equity Value fund will be launched this summer. The first three funds have an ongoing charges figure (OCF) of 0.35%, while the emerging markets fund's OCF will be 0.40%.
