Aegon launches pensions freedom website and modelling tool

Aegon has launched a dedicated website and interactive tool to assist advisers working with clients on pensions flexibility.

It also announced plans to launch a guaranteed retirement income product on its platform soon. It said the site - Your Retirement Planner - would help advisers navigate the maze of retirement income choice available under pensions freedom and would complement the government-backed guidance service Pension Wise. The service is built around an interactive planning tool which illustrates options such as drawdown, annuities or cash lump sums depending on the mix of options they choose.
