Chris Gilchrist overhauls investment proposition with Parmenion

Fiveways Financial Planning director Chris Gilchrist has teamed up with Parmenion to overhaul his firm's investment offering, in a move away from in-house model portfolios towards a hybrid discretionary managed proposition.

The independent advice firm, along with a number of other firms, has been appointed an ‘authorised investment adviser' by Bristol-based discretionary manager Parmemion. In the case of Fiveways, this means that Parmenion has created models specifically for the advice firm, but to Gilchrist's asset allocation specifications, based on the needs of his largely cautious at or near retirement clients.
