Who triumphed at the Investment Company of the Year Awards 2014?

The winners of Professional Adviser sister title Investment Week's Investment Company of the Year Awards 2014 were crowned at a ceremony in London last night.

Aberdeen Asset Management won Global Group of the Year, while Miton took the Specialist Group of the Year title.  The Outstanding Contribution Award was presented to Henderson Global Investors' James Henderson. He has been a stalwart of the sector throughout his career, including as manager of the Lowland investment trust for the past 24 years.
