Ground-breaking protection campaign 'Seven Families' begins

An award-winning campaign designed to demonstrate the real-life benefits of income protection has gone live.

The charity-led 'Seven Families' initiative, organised by the Income Protection Task Force (IPTF) and backed by almost 20 insurance providers, will see seven uninsured people who have lost their income because of a serious or long-term illness or disability given a tax-free income for one year. The first family to benefit are the Clarkes, currently living on a narrowboat due to financial difficulties brought about following wife Tracey's loss of almost all her sight.
