Standard Life named platform of the year at London awards

Standard Life was named platform of the year at an awards ceremony in London last night, beating off stiff competition from runners up Transact and Axa Elevate.

The judges said they felt they could "buy the Standard Life proposition as customers", that the platform "wowed their many adviser users", and has had "an absolutely stonking year for new business growth". Meanwhile, Standard Life was also named best platform provider with assets over £12.5bn and Axa Elevate took home the award for best platform provider in the under £12.5bn assets category. The awards for best adviser practice and best adviser business - defined, respectively, as those with fewer than and more than ten advisers - were won by Price Bailey and Aspect 8. The ceremony...
