AFH acquires IFA Omega Consulting

IFA and discretionary wealth manager AFH Financial Group has acquired Norwich-based independent financial advice firm Omega Consulting in its second deal of the year.

The consolidator, which has bought seven other firms since the January last year, made an initial cash payment of £28,500 and will pay up to another £88,500 over the coming 26 months should the firm perform in line with expectations. Omega has approximately £14m of funds under management and a recurring income of £39,000 per year. AFH's most recent acquisition was of Stoke-on-Trent based IFA firm SR Wealth Management.
